In the beginning there were tubs...

Hello everyone!! Welcome to my blog!!

My name is Sadie (for those of you who don't already know me). I am starting this blog to document my experience with breast augmentation/esthetic sculpting.

My surgeons name is Dr. Michael Clinton. Dr. Clinton is a wonderful doctor and I would recommend him to anyone who needs help revealing their beauty.
http://www.clintonplasticsurgery.com/

The primary reason of this surgery is because I have a condition called Tuberous Breasts also know as Tubular Breasts. During puberty my breast development was stymied, they failed to develop normally and fully. Tuberous breasts are not simply small or underdeveloped breasts. The effect of the condition on the appearance of the breast can range from mild to severe (mine are severe) and typical characteristics include: enlarged, puffy areola, unusually wide spacing between the breasts, minimal breast tissue, sagging, higher than normal breast fold and narrow base at the chest wall.

Besides the unattractive physical deformity of my breasts, my condition has caused me to have very low self esteem and I have never felt feminine. I am very excited about my surgery. I am also very nervous. I really hope that this surgery helps me to feel better about myself, feel sexy and more like a woman. I will be posting photos before and after so you can see that I am not having this surgery just because I want to have bigger breasts, that is just a plus :D I doing this so maybe ill finally feel sort of normal and like a real woman. You will be able to see from the photos I post EXACTLY why i am choosing this surgery.

Im sure a few of you are already wondering, well what does this cost? My surgery ended up being a little bit less than $5,900 but I am hoping it will be well worth it. If you have any questions feel free to ask. My next posts will be photos of my breasts the day before my surgery.

I also wanted to let everyone who doesn't know I am happily married to an incredible man who is very supportive of this process and of my blog.

Thank for reading my blog, I hope that you find it helpful.

Now you see me...

I admit that this is really scary for me, putting myself out here like this is not something i would normally do but if it can help anyone, that is what matters. The photos before are NOT going to be pretty so prepare yourself.

Well, there they are. A perfect example of Tubular Breasts. I will keep you posted with photos during and after the healing process. Feel free to comment or ask questions but also please remember that this is not easy for me to do so if you have any negative/demeaning comments, please keep them to yourself. This is difficult enough as it is. I hope it helps.

...Tubs you dont

Hello everyone!! I had my surgery today and it went well. It was supposed to only be an hr and a half but ended up being about 3 hours instead as the procedure was more involved than Dr. Clinton originally anticipated. He told my husband that one of the reasons the surgery took longer is because my muscle was more A-symmetrical than my outward appearance showed, causing him to need a larger implant for my left breast as well as having to score some of the tissue to release pressure on both sides and construct an inner pocket for the implant to cradle inside of because I didnt have one naturally. Retrieving the extra implant took about 45 mins. He also mentioned having to do some minor sculpting of the surrounding tissue to achieve a more symmetrical appearance.

Drew (my husband) has been taking excellent care of me!! I was very impressed because Dr. Clinton called me last night to see how I was feeling and if i had any questions. I feel fine, just a bit drowsy and sore. I feel extreme tightness in my chest which is normal and of course it feels heavier. I havent felt any burning or much pain. So im guessing the medication is doing its job. Below are photos from today. You can see that my profile has already changed. As I heal they will look more natural and hopefully a little bigger :) I go in tomorrow to have the bandages removed.

Here we go!!

Im looking forward to tomorrow and having the bandages removed so i can see what they look like. Stay tuned in for more updates. Thank you for caring and taking the time to ready my blog!!

Underneath the Bandages...

Hello everyone!! Today was an exciting day, Dr.Clinton removed my bandages and said that my breasts look like they are supposed to right now. I am still quite sore and feel like there are weights on my chest but I getting used to it and happier. I have an appointment for next week to have my stitches removed. I am very swollen right now which is normal and as time passes the implants will settle to where they are supposed to be instead of high up like they are. Here are the newest photos.

I am really looking forward to when they are all healed up and I able to go shopping :D It wont be a fast process but I am okay with that. They already look much better than they did. Im very happy.

Stitch me out...

Hello everyone!! It has been almost a week since my surgery and since I have updated . I apologize for that but I thought it best I update when I really had something to update about and photos where you could see a difference. I visited Dr. Clinton today for a check-in and to have my stitches removed. Dr. Clinton says that my breasts and incisions are healing quite nicely and I am right on track.

Im sure a few of you are wondering what my pain level has been. Mine has been between a 1-4 of course that is with taking my muscle relaxer (Robaxin) and pain medication (Percocet). It hasn't so much been pain, just a great deal of pressure. Ive felt like their are weights on my chest for the past week but that is steadily going away. I am still sore on the sides and on/around my nipples. There is still a good amount of swelling and bruising, that is where the yellow comes from.

Even though they havent fully settled where they are supposed to yet I already feel so much better about myself. I am happier. I look in the mirror and feel dont feel like a man. It inspires me to want to lose weight and look good for just me. Before I really didnt care but now I have more confidence and I want to look good and be proud of the way I look :)

Anyway, enough jibber-jabber, here are the photos we took today. If you are wondering what that light colored cream on my chest is, its concealer. There were a couple of small bumps I wanted to cover up and then I noticed it just showed the makeup but was too lazy to retake the photos. Here you go....

SOOO EXCITED TO BE HAVING THE STITCHES REMOVED!!

Well I hope this post answered some questions if there were any but if it didnt feel free to ask anything you like...until next week or a significant change :D Thank you for tuning in!!

Healing Process...

Hello everyone!! It has been a little over a week since my stitches were removed and a little over two weeks since my surgery. My breasts are starting to fall into place and now I only feel tenderness around the sides. The bruising is almost all gone and the incisions around my nipples are almost healed!! They are looking better every day. Below are photos that we took yesterday.

They still aren't completely settled but they are getting there. I know it is going to take time but it will be worth the wait. Im not sure but Dr. Clinton may even have to go in again if my left breast doesnt fall into place. My right breast looks much better and more normal. Either way they are going to end up looking good enventually. Thanks for tuning in everyone. I will post another update next week :D

Boobs on the move...

Hello Everyone!! I am sorry it has been a little longer than usual since I have updated my blog. I had my months check up last week and it has officially been one month and one day since my surgery. The doctor said that I am healing very well and that I am doing better than he expected. I am happy with my results thus far and look forward to seeing how the continue to develop from here.

I think they are looking pretty good. I will update in about two weeks as they continue to transition into place. Big thank you to everyone who has been so supportive and has been keeping up with my blog. Stay tuned for more boobs. Lol.
